Second Saturday Slamo Returns June 13 with Pop-Up Skatepark in East Downtown Houston
Skateboarders from across Houston are invited to join in and enjoy this Saturday, June 13, 2026, for Second Saturday Slamo, a unique community event taking place from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 3600 Harrisburg, Houston, Texas.

Southside Skatepark is proud to help bring the action by providing a pop-up skatepark featuring ramps, ledges, and obstacles, creating the perfect setting for an afternoon of skateboarding jams, good times, and community.
The event transforms a cleared-out warehouse space on Houston's east side into a temporary skate destination. Before the site begins its next chapter of redevelopment, we're making the most of its smooth concrete, open layout, and partial shade with an unforgettable skate session.

In addition to the skateboarding, visitors can explore Tent City, featuring a variety of local vendors, artists, and creatives showcasing what makes Houston's skateboarding culture so unique.
