Basalt Technology
Basalt is a dense, black volcanic rock created when molten lava cools rapidly. Renowned for its multidimensional strength, it reinforces the deck with three basalt layers that boost stiffness and structural integrity while letting the maple veneers act as the backbone—amplifying the wood’s natural resonance.

DBX Deck Design
DBX decks deliver an ultra-responsive, lightweight ride with lasting consistency. Compared to traditional 7-ply decks, they’re lighter, thinner, and stronger, with a noticeably snappier pop.

Precision Construction
Each deck features three interwoven basalt layers, four standard interior maple veneers, and two thinner face veneers. Hand-laid and precision-pressed in single molds, every deck is built to exact specifications.
